Transportation

 

The Kaohsiung Main Public Library is easily accessible by public transportation, with MRT Sanduo Shopping District Station on the east side and LTR (Light Rail) Kaohsiung Exhibition Center Station on the west side. Located near the mouth of the Love River, the library can also be accessed by major highways and arterial roads such as Jhonghua Fifth Road, Sanduo Road, Chenggong Second Road, etc.

【By LTR (Light Rail)】

▎C8 Kaohsiung Exhibition Center Station ➔ Walk along Singuang Road. Estimated time: 3 min walk (300 meters).

▎Southbound：

Take Freeway 1 ➔ Exit at Zhongzheng First Road Interchange (Exit 367B) ➔ Go straight and turn right onto Sanduo First Road and drive for 15 minutes ➔ Turn left onto Chenggong Second Road ➔ Turn left onto Singuang Road (Slow Lane) ➔ Library on your right.

 

▎Northbound：

Via Freeway 1 [Zhongshan Freeway]

Take Freeway 1 ➔ Exit at Sanduo Road Interchange (Exit 367C) ➔ Turn left onto Sanduo First Road and drive for 15 minutes ➔ Turn left onto Chenggong Second Road ➔ Turn left onto Singuang Road (Slow Lane) ➔ Library on your right.

 

【By MRT】

▎R8 Sanduo Shopping District Station ➔ Take Exit No. 1 or No. 2 ➔ Walk along Jhongshan Second Road, turn right onto Singuang Road. Estimated time: 8 min walk (500 meters)

 

【By Bus】

▎Route 214, Red 21：

Get off at Main Library (Zihciang Road Intersection) Bus Stop and walk across Singuang Road.

 

▎Route 70A, 70B, 70D (Sanduo Line), Route 205 (Jhonghua Line)：

Get off at Singuang Road Intersection (Main Library) Bus Stop, walk northward on Jhonghua Fifth Road, turn left onto Singuang Road. Estimated time: 2 min walk (200 meters)

 

▎Route 36：

Get off at Jhonghua Fusing Road Intersection Bus Stop ➔ Walk northward on Jhonghua Fifth Road, turn left onto Singuang Road. Estimated time: 10 min walk (800 meters).

 

▎Route 11：

Get off at Cingnian Second Road Bus Stop ➔ Walk along Zihciang Third Road for 15-20 minutes, and cross Singuang Road.

 

▎Route 72B：

Get off at Shihjia Elementary School Bus Stop ➔ Go west along Fusing Third Road➔Turn right on Jonghua 5th Road➔Turn left into Singuang Road, and walk for about 10 minutes.

 

▎Route 25/ 69A/69B：

Get off at Labor Park Bus Stop ➔ Take MRT from Shihjia Station to Sanduo Shopping District Station, and walk along Singuang Road for 8-10 minutes.
