- Our library classifies the western books by the“Dewey Decimal Classification”and the“Anglo-American Cataloging Rules second edition”. We identify the authors by the“Cutter List”. And we compile the subjects by the“Sears List of Subject Headings”.
- Our catalogue method is designed according to the“Chinese Machine Readable Cataloging Format (Chinese MARC)”.
- Our automation operation system adopts from the URICA library management automation system. Our library joined the“National Bibliographic Information Network (NBI net)”to process catalogue cooperation.
- Our library also follows the cataloging in publication (CIP) offered by the International Standard Book Number (ISBN) Center, National Library, to accelerate and improve our cataloguing.
