Having graduated with First Class Honors with Gold Medal award from Faculty of
Arts, Chulalongkorn University, Tatsanai subsequently studied at Université
Paris VII where she completed her doctorate degree in Sociology in 1983.
Upon completing her studies, Tatsanai returned to Thailand and worked for Cultural
Services of the French Embassy in Bangkok. Tatsanai first joined the TK Park in 2004,
as one of its founder members. She is now the Director-General of the TK Park;
the organization is playing an essential role in facilitating a new learning experience
for Thai children and young adults in an effort to create lifelong readers.
At present, she is also committee member of Thai Library Association, and a member
of strategic and planning committee of World Book Capital City 2013 project, as well
as the 16th Congress of Southeast Asia Library, to be held on June 11-13, 2015 in
Bangkok.
