New Arrival/Popular Reading Section

All the books in Kaohsiung Main Public Library are symbols of wisdom and love. With the donation plan initiated by Kaohsiung City Cultural Foundation, KMPL continues to receive donations to increase the collection of the library. The floors are named after donors who donate over 100 million NTD, and the rooms are named after donors who donate over 30 million NTD. Names of donors who donate over 1 million NTD, 3 million NTD, 5 million NTD, and 10 million will be posted on the Appreciation Tree and the library will light the Light of Wisdom for the donors. Small donors can leave their wishes on the blank page of the books of their choices.

The periodicals on the 3F include 641 Chinese magazines that cover fashion and art, finance and technology, leisure and entertainment, and academic studies; the 316 journals cover issues related to fashion, knowledge, art, leisure and academic studies. There are also foreign magazines in 10 different foreign languages, including English, Japanese, French, Spanish, Thai and Vietnamese. We also have 7200 senior materials for the elderly.
